Baton Rouge Women's Interclub Golf Association
The Baton Rouge Women's Interclub Golf Association was formed in 1963 to promote good fellowship and friendly competition among local women amateur golfers. The association sponsors three competitions per year, and is at all times governed by the Rules of Golf of the USGA.

Membership & Events
Any player in good standing with a Member Association is a member of Interclub. New Members are welcome! Check the association pages on this site for more information.
Note: Many golfers hold membership in more than one Associate Club to take advantage of varied weekly play days. Check with an Associate Club for membership details.
BRWIGA holds three competitions each year:
1.-The Team Scramble is held in the spring.
2.-The Interclub Championship is held in fall.
3.-The Bayou Cup is a 1-day event played in fall.
BRWIGA also presents an annual sportsmanship award.
To participate in these Interclub Events, members must belong to the Ladies Golf Association of a BRWIGA Associate Club and maintain a current, official handicap.
Club Championship
A player must be at least 18 years old when the tournament begins. She must have been a member in good standing of BRWIGA for at least three (3) months. If questions arise, the Board of Directors has final approval on entries.
